3. NOTE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not remain closed,
install a new shoulder safety belt guide.
Remove the front shoulder safety belt guide cover.
4. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
5. On a rear safety belt retractor and tongue with a flip-up shoulder safety belt guide cover, remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

Lift the shoulder safety belt guide cover.

Use the Safety Belt Bolt Torx Bit to remove the bolt.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
