7. Remove the rear lower body side trim panel (extended wagon shown).

Remove the 4 screws.

For the regular wagon, remove the 3 trim panel screws.

Remove the 3 pin-type retainers.

Lift the panel slightly and remove the trim panel from the body side.

8. Remove the window latches, if so equipped.

Remove the 2 window latch screws.

Remove the window latch.

9. Position the driver seat to the full forward position.

10. Remove the front seat belt guide cover.

11. Remove the front safety belt guide.

Remove the nut.
