Rear door with E-Guard Cargo Protection System

5. Remove the 4 license plate housing screws.
6. Position the housing away from the door.

7. NOTE:  The rear door exterior door handle is part of the license plate housing.

Disconnect the door latch cable.

NOTE:  View of the door lock cylinder cover is from the bottom.

Release the 2 tabs on the door lock cylinder cover and slide it off the door lock cylinder.

Side door

9. NOTE:  Use the special tool to install the exterior door handle assembly rivets.

Remove the 2 rivets.

10. Disconnect the actuating rod from the door handle.

All doors

11. NOTE:  Use the special tool to install the exterior door handle assembly rivets.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
