2. Tighten the cooler tube fitting(s).
3. CAUTION: MERCON(R) Automatic Transmission Fluid is being replaced by MERCON(R) V as a service fluid, per TSB 06-14-4.
Fill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of clean transmission fluid.
4. Check for leaks.

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the fluid cooler tube(s)/hose(s), as necessary.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill the transmission with clean transmission fluid.

Check for leaks.
