Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the power steering reservoir pump hose from the power steering pump.

Drain the power steering oil reservoir.
4. Remove the high-pressure fitting from the power steering pump.
NOTE: Replacement of the power steering high-pressure fitting is only necessary when replacing the power steering high-pressure hose. The
high-pressure fitting is a one-time usage, quick connect only. Once the high-pressure hose is installed, the fitting will not disconnect.
5. Remove the two top power steering pump bolts.
6. Remove the lower pump bolt and remove the power steering pump.
