Torsional Damper: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cables.

2.

Remove fan shroud, then the fan and clutch assembly. The fan retaining nut has lefthand threads.

3.

Remove drive belts.

4.

Raise and support vehicle.

5.

Remove crankshaft pulley.

6.

Remove damper to crankshaft attaching bolt, then the damper.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.
