Remove the CDR valve, hose and hose adapter from the engine as an assembly by pulling upward, slipping the hose adapter out of the valley pan
grommet, Figure 12.
4.
Inspect the nylon adapter and hose for cracks or signs of deterioration. Replace damaged components as required.
5.
Cut and discard the hose clamps prior to removing hose and adapter from the CDR valve.
Installation
1.
Loosely assemble the CDR valve, hose, two (2) new hose clamps and nylon hose adapter.
NOTE:
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE HOSE CLAMPS.
2.
Coat the nylon adapter and valley pan grommet with clean engine oil prior to installation.
3.
Install the CDR assembly on the engine by inserting the nylon adapter into the valley pan grommet.
