15. NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
Remove the 4 engine support insulator nuts.
16. Remove the flywheel inspection plate.
17. Using the special tool, raise the engine.
18. Remove the bolts and partially lower the oil pan.
19. Remove the bolts retaining the oil pump screen and pickup tube and allow it to drop into the oil pan. Also remove the tube and spacer and allow it
to drop into the oil pan. Remove the oil pan.

Discard the oil pan gasket.
20. CAUTION: Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, power abrasive discs or other abrasive means to clean the sealing surfaces. These
may cause scratches and gouges resulting in leak paths. Use a plastic scraper to clean the sealing surfaces.
