4. Remove the bolts and the instrument panel reinforcement.
5. Remove the bolts and the instrument panel reinforcement bracket.
6. Remove the screws and position the wire harness aside.
7. Remove the 8 heater core cover screws and the heater core cover.
8. NOTE: Use care not to spill the coolant remaining in the heater core during removal.
Remove the heater core.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Clean and lubricate the coolant hoses with plain water only, if needed.
10. Fill the engine cooling system.
