6. Disconnect the auxiliary evaporator inlet line fitting.

-

Discard the O-ring seals.

All vehicles

7. Remove the evaporator inlet fitting bracket screw.

-

To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

8. CAUTION:  Use a wrench on each side of the fitting to prevent damage to the A/C fitting.

Disconnect the evaporator inlet fitting.

Discard the O-ring seal.

-

To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft).

9. Remove the condenser-to-evaporator line.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

-

Install a new gasket seal (if equipped) and new O-ring seals.

-

Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil.

11. Evacuate, leak test and charge the A/C system.
