5. Disconnect and detach the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector and position the wiring harness aside.
6. Detach the wiring harness from the bracket.
7. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector.
8. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the A/C compressor bolts.
Loosen the bolts enough to slide the A/C compressor down 1 inch, allowing access for CKP sensor removal.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
9. Remove the CKP sensor bolt and the CKP sensor. Inspect the O-ring seal for damage and replace if necessary.

Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
