8. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.
9. Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold.
Installation
All engines
1. Position the exhaust manifold gasket.
2. NOTE: 4.6L shown; 5.4L similar.
Position the exhaust manifold and loosely install the nuts.
3. NOTE: 4.6L shown; 5.4L similar.
