Service and Repair for 4R100 Automatic Transmission - Transmission Speed Sensor
NOTE:Prior to removing the speed sensor, make sure that the area around the sensor is free of foreign material to prevent contamination of the
transmission.
10. Remove the intermediate shaft and turbine shaft combination speed sensor.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the intermediate shaft and turbine shaft combination speed sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the intermediate shaft and turbine shaft combination speed sensor.

Lubricate the O-ring and install the intermediate shaft and turbine shaft combination speed sensor.

Install the bolt.
2. Connect the intermediate shaft and turbine shaft combination speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Raise transmission and crossmember in position.
4. Install the LH crossmember bracket.
5. Install the LH crossmember nuts.
6. Install the RH crossmember bracket.
