3. Tighten the oil pan bolts in the sequence shown.
Stage 1: 2 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Stage 3: Rotate 60 degrees
NOTE: Be sure to tighten the oil pan bolts in three stages.
4. Tighten the front engine support insulators.
5. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control
module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
6. Fill the engine with oil.

Use engine oil meeting Ford specification WSE-M2C903-A1.
7. Fill the cooling system.
