Install the FTP transducer into the fuel tank. To insert the FTP transducer, make sure the connector is pointed to the passenger side of the
vehicle. Refer to Figure 9.

Rotate the FTP transducer connector clockwise 45 degrees and connect the FTP transducer electrical connector. Refer to Figure 9.

Rotate the FTP transducer an additional 45 degrees clockwise to lock into position. The connector should be pointed toward the rear of the
vehicle.See Figure 9.
Reflashing PCM
Reflash the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to the new calibration listed by VIN number in the calibration chart using one of the following two (2)
methods:

Service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS).

Service Bay Technical System (SBTS) and the New Generation STAR (NGS) Tester with Rotunda flash cable (007-00531) and Rotunda flash
card (007-00532).
