Power Steering Pump: Description and Operation
Power Steering Pump
The CIII power steering pump has the following features:

It is a belt-driven, vane-type, power steering pump.

It is mounted directly to the engine block by three bolts.
^
The power steering pump is replaced as an assembly.
^
An identification tag attached to the power steering pump indicates the model number and bar code. Refer to these when pump replacement is
required.
^
The power steering pump uses a quick connect fitting for the power steering pressure hose.
^
The power steering oil reservoir is mounted on the LH side of the upper radiator support crossmember.
