Removal
1. Remove the lock cylinder assembly. Refer to Lock Cylinder With, or Without Key.
2. Insert a flat bladed screwdriver in the recess of the drive gear at the bottom of the lock cylinder housing. Turn the lock drive gear
COUNTERCLOCKWISE three notches.
3. Remove the snap ring, washer and lock drive gear from the lock cylinder housing. Note the position of the drive gear to the rack teeth.
Installation
1. Install the lock drive gear in the housing in the same position as noted during removal. Installation is correct if the last tooth on the drive gear is
meshed with the last tooth on the rack. Install the washer and snap ring.
2. Using the screwdriver blade, turn the drive gear CLOCKWISE three notches.
3. Install the lock cylinder.
