Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove pin and brake master cylinder push rod spacer which connect stoplight switch and power brake booster push rod to brake pedal.
2. Remove stoplight switch, bushing, and brake booster push rod from pedal.
3. Remove nut from long bolt.
4. Slide bolt out far enough to take out brake pedal, brake and clutch pedal bushing, and spring washer.
5. Take brake master cylinder push rod spacer off brake pedal.
