High Pressure Oil Pump Reservoir: Description and Operation
Pump Reservoir
PURPOSE
The oil reservoir supplies a constant supply of oil to the high pressure pump.
CONSTRUCTION
The reservoir is an aluminum housing attached to the top of the engine front cover. There is an inspection plug in the top of the reservoir that
allows checking of the oil level.
