Intake Air Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL 
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the Powertrain Control
Module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.

2. Disconnect wire harness from Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
3. Remove IAT sensor from air cleaner housing.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse removal procedures.
2. Tighten intake air temperature sensor to 16-24 Nm (12-15 in lb).
