Install a new spider and bearing cup.
1) Start a new bearing cup in the shaft yoke.

Check the needle bearings for correct positioning.
2) Position the new spider in the shaft yoke.
3) Press the bearing cup to just below the snap ring groove.
2. NOTE: Use the yellow snap rings supplied in the kit to assemble the U-joint. If difficulty is encountered with the yellow snap rings, install the
black snap rings.
Remove the shaft from the special tool and install the new snap ring.

3. Repeat bearing cup installation in this procedure to install the new bearing cup and snap ring on the opposite side of the shaft yoke.
4. Remove the shaft from the special tool and install the new snap ring.
