Remove and Replace Shift Solenoid on E 450 V10-68L (2008) Transmission
Assembly
1. Install a new gasket, the backing plate and bolts.

Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).
2. Install a new filter screen gasket.
3. NOTE: Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern to prevent the gasket from becoming distorted.
Assemble the top and bottom halves of the solenoid body.

Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).
