Parking Brake Control
Removal
All except E-450
1. Relieve the tension on the parking brake system.

Pull down on the parking brake intermediate cable.

Insert a 4 mm (0.16 inch) drill bit or equivalent retainer in the parking brake control.

2. NOTE: Make sure the parking brake is fully released.
With the transmission in NEUTRAL, position the vehicle on a hoist.
3. Disconnect the front parking brake cable and conduit from the parking brake lever.

Disconnect the parking brake lever return spring from the clevis pin (if equipped).

Remove the locking pin from the clevis pin and remove the clevis pin.
All vehicles
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the LH cowl side trim panel.
