6. Remove the torque converter drain plug and drain the torque converter.

Rotate the crankshaft to access the drain plug.
7. Clean and inspect the (A) transmission fluid pan, the (B) pan gasket and the (C) magnet.
8. Flush the cooler, and cooler lines.
9. Flush the torque converter.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the new torque converter drain plug.
NOTE: A new torque converter drain plug must be installed.
2. Install the converter housing access plug.
