Special Tools

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the driveshaft.

NOTE:  To maintain initial driveshaft balance, mark the driveshaft yoke and axle flange so the will be installed in their original positions.

4. Remove the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the VSS.

5. Disconnect the catalyst monitoring sensor harness connectors. Remove the harness bracket.
