Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Position the A/C compressor aside.
NOTE: Do not remove the lines from the A/C compressor.
5. Disconnect the wiring at the sensor.
6. Remove the CKP sensor bolt and the crankshaft position sensor.
NOTE: The crankshaft pulley is shown removed for clarity.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
