CAUTIONS, NOTES, AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS)
DEACTIVATION/REACTIVATION PROCEDURE.

Remove the seat on the side with the affected safety belt buckle and pretensioner.
2. Remove the front seat back latch lower cover.
3. Remove the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Disconnect the safety belt buckle and pretensioner harness connector.

Using the Safety Belt Bolt Torx Bit, remove the safety belt buckle and pretensioner boll.

Remove the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.
NOTE: The driver side is shown, the passenger side is similar.
INSTALLATION

NOTES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE REMOVAL PROCEDURE.
1. Install the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Position the safety belt buckle and pretensioner to the seat.

Install the bolt.

Connect the electrical connector.
NOTE: The driver side is shown, the passenger side is similar.
2. Install the seat side shield.
3. Restore the vehicle to operating condition.

Install the seat with the affected safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS).

With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
