Close the manual lock-down valves on each of the three (3) under-vehicle fuel tanks by tightening the manual lock-down jack screw on the fuel
tank solenoid valve clockwise to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) to close the valve.
5.
Lower the vehicle and start the engine. Allow the engine to idle until it stalls. Once it stalls, crank the engine for an additional 15 seconds.
6.
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
PROCEDURE E - FUEL LINE REPLACEMENT REMOVAL
WARNING:
FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE MUST BE RELEASED BEFORE DISCONNECTING FUEL LINES. SEE PROCEDURE D.
1.
Raise the vehicle on the hoist.
2.
Disconnect the anti-lock sensor electrical connector from the top of the rear axle housing and release the harness from the retainer securing it to
the parking brake cable.
3.
Disconnect the two electrical connectors at the mid-ship tank solenoid valve.
4.
Disconnect the rear high-pressure fuel line from the mid high-pressure fuel line, the mid-ship tank and the forward aft-axle fuel tank. See Figure 5.

NOTE: This step applies only to cutaway models and non-cutaway models equipped with the 4th fuel tank.
On cutaway models, disconnect the fuel fill connection from the rear high-pressure fuel line. See Figure 5.
On non-cutaway models equipped with the 4th fuel tank, disconnect the rear high-pressure fuel line at the connection leading to the extended range
