Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor (CNG): Service and Repair
Removal:
1. Perform the pressure relief fuel line venting procedure.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor
4. Remove the tank temperature sensor.
1. Disconnect the tank temperature sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the tank temperature sensor.
Installation:
Note: Replace the tank temperature sensor O-ring seal.
Note: Lubricate the tank temperature sensor O-ring seal with 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford specification ESE-M2C153-E or equivalent prior to
installation, to help seal and ease the installation.
Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Torques
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
