Removal
WARNING: Brake fluid contains polyglycol ethers and polyglycols. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If
brake fluid contacts eyes, flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. If taken internally, drink
water and induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. If so equipped, unclip the speed sensor wiring from the front brake hose.
4. CAUTION: To prevent contamination and reduce air entry, always plug a disconnected front brake hose.
Disconnect the front brake hose from the disc brake caliper.
1. Remove the flow bolt.
2. Disconnect the front brake hose.
3. Remove and discard the copper washers.
