Removal
1. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.
^
Remove the fluid cooler tubes from the transmission.
^
Remove the auxiliary fluid cooler tube from the transmission fluid cooler and the radiator.
^
Remove the auxiliary fluid cooler tube from the transmission fluid cooler and the radiator.
Installation
1. Install the fluid cooler tubes.
^
Install the fluid cooler tubes from the radiator to the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler.
^
Install the fluid cooler tube from the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler to the radiator.
^
Install the fluid cooler tube from the radiator to the transmission.
2. Fill the transmission with MERCON(R)V Multi-Purpose Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-SQM or equivalent meeting Ford MERCON(R) V
specification.
