INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate the camshaft bearings, lobes and journals with Engine Assembly Lubricant D9AZ-19579-D or equivalent meeting Ford specification
ESR-M99C80-A. Install the camshaft.
2. Install the engine balance shaft drive gear.

The timing marks on the engine balance shaft drive gear and driven gear must align.
3. Install the following components.
-
upper and lower intake manifolds.
-
valve covers.
-
valve tappets.
