13. Raise the engine until the distance between the crankshaft damper and the bottom of the crossmember is at least 33 mm (13 inches).
NOTE: If the engine is not raised at least 33 mm (13 inches), it will not be possible to remove the oil pan.
14. Support the engine by placing blocks of wood between the engine mount bracket and the exhaust manifolds. Remove the screw jack and wood
block from the oil pan.
15. Remove the bolt retaining the oil pan to the right side of the transmission converter housing.
