Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Upper Intake Manifold

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Remove the engine cover.

3. Disconnect the following ignition coil electrical connections:

-

ignition coil electrical connector

-

radio ignition interference capacitor electrical connector

4. Disconnect and remove the spark plug wires.

CAUTION: Spark plug wires must be connected to the proper ignition coil terminal. Mark locations before removing spark plug wires.

NOTE: Refer to the cylinder-to-coil tower relation indicated.
