INSTALLATION
1. Connect the battery ground cable.
NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the Powertrain Control
Module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
2. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
3. Perform the evaporative emission system leak test. See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests/EVAP System Leak Test
4. Perform the evaporative emission running loss monitor repair verification drive cycle test.
