Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Perform the pressure relief - fuel line venting procedure.
2. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.
1. Pinch off the coolant lines 76 mm (3 in.) from the fuel pressure regulator.
2. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.
NOTE: The fuel pressure regulator and coalescer/filter are removed as an assembly.
3. Disconnect the low-pressure fuel line from the fuel pressure regulator.
4. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel line from the coalescer/filter.
5. Loosen the fitting retaining the fuel pressure regulator to the coalescer/filter.
