The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to learn the strategy.

Replace the fuel tank pressure sensor and spacer O-ring seals.

Lubricate the fuel tank pressure sensor and spacer O-ring seals with Super Premium 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C1
53-F or equivalent prior to installation, to help seal and ease the installation.
