4. Remove the passenger air bag module retaining nuts.

Remove the passenger air bag module retaining nuts.

Using a 3/8-inch x 4-inch flat head screwdriver, or equivalent, carefully slide the head of the screwdriver under the right bottom edge of the
door and lift upward, separating the door from the clip. Separate the rest of the door from the clips by lifting the door with your hands.
5. Remove the passenger air bag module.

Disconnect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.

Remove the passenger air bag module.
6. Remove the six offset fasteners used for retaining the air bag module door from the instrument panel.
7. If the passenger air bag module is diagnosed as faulty, dispose of the air bag module using, the appropriate air bag disposal procedure.
