Removal
WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components. Highly
flammable mixtures are always present and can be ignited, resulting in possible personal injury.
WARNING: Fuel in the fuel system remains under high pressure even when the engine is not running.
1. Remove the intake manifold.
2. Remove the bolt, the clamp and the oil filler assembly.
3. Disconnect the 42-pin and the two 16-pin electrical connectors. Remove the ground strap retaining nut and the wiring harness mounting bracket.
4. Unclip the wiring harness from the valve cover studs.
