4. Using the special tool, detach the drag link from the tie rod end.
5. Remove and discard the cotter pin and nut.
6. Using a suitable separating tool, detach the tie rod end from the wheel knuckle.
7. NOTE: Count the numbers of turns that are necessary to remove the tie-rod for reference during installation.
Remove the tie rod end.
