Idle Validation Switch
The idle validation switch signals the PCM that the accelerator pedal is in the idle position.
A PCM detected/ETC IVS Switch will illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. An inoperative ETC/IVS Switch detected by the PCM will only
allow the engine to run at idle.
