Econoline E550 V8-73L DSL Turbo VIN F (2002) Transmission Seal and Gasket Replacement
1. Install the extension housing and gasket

Position the extension housing gasket and the extension housing.

Install the bolts and nuts.
2. Using the special tool, install the new extension housing seal.
3. Install the transmission insulator and retainer.
4. Install the harness bracket. Reconnect the catalyst monitoring sensor harness connectors.
5. NOTE: The output shaft and the driveshaft are a balanced assembly.
Install the driveshaft.

Align the index marks and position the driveshaft on the transmission.

Position the driveshaft to the rear differential.
