DROPPING DOWN BEHIND STATIONARY GLASS
ROOF PANEL

FORD:
2008-2010 Edge

LINCOLN:
2008-2010 MKX

ISSUE
Some 2008-2010 Edge and MKX vehicles equipped with a roof opening panel and built on or before 9/11/2209 may experience the headliner dropping
down behind the stationary glass roof panel when viewed from the second row passenger seat area. This may be due to the adhesive not retaining the
Velcro(R)/foam block(s) to the two (2) support brackets that are designed to keep the headliner in proper position.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Lower the headliner down to gain access to the two (2) support brackets with attached Velcro(R)/foam blocks. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM),

Section 501-05. (Figure 1)

2.

Remove the two (2) support brackets with attached Velcro(R)/foam block(s) from the roof opening frame.

NOTE

THE VELCRO(R)/FOAM BLOCKS MAY HAVE BECOME DETACHED FROM THE BRACKETS AND ARE STILL STUCK TO THE
HEADLINER. IF SO, REMOVE THE VELCRO®/FOAM BLOCK(S) FROM THE HEADLINER.
