Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.

3. Position the interior door handle aside.

Release the clip.

4. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod.

Release the two clips.

Disconnect the rod.

5. Remove the screws and the anti-theft guard.

6. Remove and discard the door latch screws.
