Escape 2WD L4-122 2.0L DOHC VIN B SFI (2001)
5. Remove the outboard seat cushion side shield.

Remove the seat backrest lever cover.

Remove the screw.

Pull out to release the retaining clips and remove the seat cushion side shield.

If equipped, disconnect the power seat switch electrical connector.
6. Remove the inboard seat cushion side shield.

Pull out to release the retaining clips.
7. Release the pin-type retainers and separate the side air bag electrical connector and wire harness from the seat.
NOTE: Note the wire harness routing for installation.
8. Remove the seat backrest pivot nut.
