Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Coil Pack
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the ignition wires.
3. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors.
4. Remove the bolts and remove the ignition coil.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
CAUTION: Correct installation of the ignition wires is critical to engine operation. If one spark plug wire is not correctly installed at either the
spark plugs or the ignition coil, both spark plugs connected to the ignition coil may not fire under load.
