25. Install the No.15 thrust bearing. (Figure 18)
26. Install the turbine shaft seal protector 307-635 on the input shaft. (Figure 19)
27. Clean the silicone off torque converter housing and transmission case sealing sur[ace.
28. Be sure the sealing sur[aces of the torque converter housing and the transaxle housing are free of oil before applying Motorcraft® Ultra Silicone
Sealant. Apply Motorcraft® Ultra Silicone Sealant to the sealing surface of the transaxle case. (Figure 20)
