Escape 2WD V6-3.0L VIN 1 (2004)
6. Remove the vent tube hose.
7. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
8. Remove the LH front wheel.
9. Remove the LH splash shield.
10. Remove the main control cover bolts and the cover.
