Hose/Line HVAC: Description and Operation
NOTE: Installation of a new suction accumulator is not necessary when repairing the air conditioning system except when there is physical evidence of
system contamination from a failed A/C compressor or damage to the suction accumulator.
The condenser to evaporator line contains high-pressure liquid refrigerant upstream of the A/C evaporator core orifice. The A/C manifold and tube
assembly is attached to the A/C compressor with O-ring seals.
