5. If reinstalling the original inner joint, mark the inner joint and the halfshaft to make sure of correct installation.

6. Using a soft face hammer, separate the halfshaft from the inboard joint housing.

7. Remove and discard the bearing retainer circlip.

8. Remove and discard the snap ring.
